- Transmitter Lifetime Warranty- The Contain-A-Pet dog fence system includes a transmitter control box (set up in a garage or basement) and a receiver fence collar (see below) which is worn around the dog’s neck. The transmitter will cover from a couple of hundred feet to 10- 20 acres or more.
- Receiver Lifetime Warranty- The transmitter sends a radio signal through the wire buried around your property. Your dog or cat wears the small receiver collar. The receiver collar is searching for that signal. If your pet gets too close to the boundary, the receiver collar will activate and give either a tone or a correction/tone depending on the setting. With proper training, your pet is conditioned to stay away from the tone and in the safe areas of the yard.
- Proper Training- Contain-A-Pet dealers are required to become certified pet trainers. That means you and your pet receive training from an installer who understands your pets behavior. What is proper training? We will work with your dog to customize the best training scenario for his personality and temperament. You will spend about 10-15 minutes a day showing him his boundaries based on the training method determined for your dog. After a week, you can start to let him roam free. All you do is supervise him for a few days. It’s quick. It’s easy. And that’s all there is to it!
